Announcing BYC Golden Feather Memberships

I'm glad to contribute! It's $12.00 for 6 months. Less than most magazines I've subscribed to. I've saved sooo much more than that due to the advice I have received here. This site is awsome! I'm proud to be a tiny part of it. I'm canceling my magazines. I can get all of my info here.

I don't understand why people are jumping to the conclusion that the forum is no longer free ?
Reading the thread explains that this is just a extra if you want it.
$20 a year is pretty cheap compared to what we pay for other things that are worth much less !

Nifty I commend you for making this extra so affordable !!!!!!

When Nifty first mentioned this I scratched my head. The I thought about
it. For me, my BYC PM account is as valueable as my email accounts.
For $20 a year I get all the storage I need. Never again will I miss a PM
from a friend here. For that reason alone I find it worth it so I signed up.

I really don't want my name yellow though and I can't wait to get my
"Get out of ban free" card.

I kind of agree on not liking the golden color, but don't have a better suggestion, so...

Completely agree about the $20 being worth it. I've discontinued my subscription to Backyard Poultry magazine because I get better and more timely info here on this forum!

Plus, the people here are pretty awesome!

BYC is the BEST - the folks here provide so much helpful information - moderate the site beautifully, have links to fabulous products for chicken lovers (and their chickens...

I have owned my own website for about 12 years now. I can tell you even a modest website will cost you money. I am in awe that Rob was able to keep adding to this forum and offering free features knowing how expenses add up quick, especially when you have pay for programming to be done by the hour.

Rob and his wife are very generous to us. This is how we can help support BYC.

In fact I appreciate all Rob has done for us so much I will be periodically gifting memberships to people who make my heart feel good.
