Hello, I ordered some chicks from Myers Hatchery.  Pick up in March... (also live on the westside of Cleveland, about 10minutes from North Olmsted).

Hey Cowboy, thanks for the invite.  I've been looking for a place to pick some strawberries (been on a juicing kick..lol), plus the kids would love it as well.  Friend of mine hunts down near you in Newcomerstown, suppose to look at some hunting property with him that way.

Hi Buckeyes! I have a few questions that I'm hoping you can help me with -

- Does anyone have recommendations for a coop/shed builder in OH? 8x8 to 12x12 range, reasonably priced?

- Are there any Hobbyist chicken clubs in Ohio? I'd love to gather with friends of a feather!

- Anybody with showgirl chicks that they are looking to part with? I just had a disappointing showgirl hatch and I would really love to have a few chicks. I have 9 beautiful Silkie chicks right now

Thank you and I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Lovin' Life to the FULLEST! I adore my little Silkies and Showgirls! 2 rescue swans, a tribe of guineas and numerous other rescued critters, including my Livestock Guardian, Tony Llama...YES! I live on a farm! Praising God daily!

There are a number of Amish builders around the Berlin OH area. I check one out and they  are reasonable for the size and quality. I think you can get one for around 1000 already built.

You can check us out on Facebook. Windy Hill Berry Farm and Vineyard. Up to the minute news and notes

We have added our Local Bounty Facebook. This is a coop store which promotes local produce and home produced products. Check out the store.

Hi Blessed-  I agree with keenecowboy about barns/coops from the amish builders in Berlin.  We bought ours from Buckeye Barns in Dalton.  Very happy with it.  It is a little fancier than the basic version and is holding up well.  I think the pricing in the area is pretty similar.  We had a guy come in and put down a gravel base for ours.

Oh, by the way, my mom has a bunch of showgirls and had some chicks.  I can see if she wants to part with any.

Hello Fellow Ohioians, I am in Amherst (Henrietta Township) looking for TWO Guinea Fowls (to use as watch dogs for my chickens) we have a Hawk problem, I have two great coops built from Triple Braided Farms and a huge run that hubby built but still like my chickens to be allowed free range on the nice days, but those darn hawks!   I called Mayer Hatchery but they will only sell by 25's and I really just want like 2-3, any suggestions?
