It is illegal to transport and to relocate them in the state of Ohio. I have never heard of a case being prosecuted. Please don't do it near me.

They are not bad creatures and we are the intruders. That said, if you refuse to kill them or move them, you WILL suffer loss.

Good Luck,

I'm with you Shawn, I feel raccoons are nasty, violent killers. Buzzards need to eat too.

Hello fellow Buckeyes!  Wondering if anyone would be interested in trading a rooster for a hen before my neighbors don't like me anymore    smile.png  He is about 3-4 mos old and I believe he is what they call a leghorn. Thanks!

Hi Tilley! Welcome to BYC! If you are looking for good quality buckeye pullets then you need to contact the ABC, American Buckeye Club. They have a website - http://www.americanbuckeyeclub.org/ , and a very active yahoo! group and facebook page. There are several quality breeders listed, many in your area, who I am sure would love to help you out! My daughter is going to be taking our buckeyes to the Hartford fair this year for our first time and we are very excited! You will not be disappointed in your choice to have a few of this wonderful breed! Let me know if you have any questions or need more information!
