The little ******* is fine with the hubby, in fact steers clear of him. I usually can keep him at bay, as he knows when I am giving him the evil eye, but I got distracted and wasn't paying attention and he knew it! I will be wearing boots from now on, I just happened to have shorter pants on that day so he nailed the bare leg with his spur. Usually I have heavy jeans on and a robe over that, so he can attack and it barely leaves a bruise. He has been handled when younger, but this year we just haven't taken the time. All our chickens run from us, but are fairly easy to herd if we walk slowly behind them. When they are inside the coop or run, and we pick them up, they are nice and quiet. Except for the roo, he has to squall a bit first. Hubby knows how to tuck their head under their wing and make them go to sleep, lol. We do that to clip their wings.
