I named one of my Khaki Campbells "Gabby" for exactly that reason. And I almost named her "Yacky," but decided on Gabby because she babbles a lot besides the loud random quackiing!!! lol:

Actually my husband came up with that name for Yacky after working out in the yard for a few hours with the ducks helping him.barnie

Mine are:  Snuffles a Rouen drake and Quackers a Cayuga duck. I'll be needing a name for the new Khaki Campbell ducklet that should be shipped tomorrow from Ideal.  I'll have to keep an eye on this thread for ideas!

Who knew chickens and ducks could be so much fun?

The critters....  3 horses, 2 llamas, 2 goats, 2 emus, 3 dogs, 8 cats, 1 turtle, 13 chickens, 3 ducks and 18 turkeys.

Ha ha Terry.. Mister Debbie!

We names our ducks... Gretchen, Pig and Shrek.
They are all girls.

When I was a teenager we had ducks...
they were Hans, Guido, Gretchen and Sweety Pie.
Gretchen hatched eggs.... then we had Randi and Pierre.

Daisy, Danald and Daphney. When we named them I was hoping for 2 girls and a boy. Turns out all 3 are BOYS!!!!!

My rouens are Homer and Marge (yes she is a crested rouen).

Mom to 20 assorted chickens, 2 guinea fowl, 6 call ducks, 2 rouen ducks, 2 sebastopol geese, 6 angora goats, 27 jersey wooly rabbits, 4 cats, 2 dogs and 3 teenagers.

We have Lilly Beans and Lolly Pop.....Our drake was named Poopsie Poops Alot (for obvious reasons)

I needed another dog like I need a hole in the head....Yes, we got dog #5 last weekend...
2 daughters and a husband--whose currently deployed for round #2

We had :
Pumpkin, Duck-duck, goose, Hershey , Reese and Marshmellow. All of them scovies. Goose was sold for food purposes, he was the least dominant male.
