Hey,

Anyone interested in adopting my bantam Lavender and Black Orpington cockerels?

I'm in Atlanta and I can't keep them once they start crowing.

 

No rehoming fee or anything.  They're free to a good home!

Anyone close to me in thomasville that might have young chicks for sale ?

I have some 2 week old SilverGray Dorkings, i dont know the sex of them, i got some assorted chicks with my meat turkeys.

I am not from Georgia, I live in Auburn, Alabama. My husband works in Atlanta during the week and comes back to Auburn on the weekends, so we have an apartment there.

 

I am looking for a good home for two mallards - one male and one female. We rescued them from a college student who was keeping them in his bathtub, and we can't keep them (although I did consider keeping them for a while, they are so cute). We can't have ducks in our city, and I don't want to get caught with their morning quacking. I am willing to drive pretty far to take them to a good home. They are really sweet and get along ok with our four chickens (except a little bullying on the ducks part).

 

PM me if you are interested. I would really love to find a great home for them before I resort to craigslist or something like that.
 

So glad you found your baby some company. I'm typing on my cell & it doesn't know how to separate the quotes from the replies. Lemon cockoo orps are beautiful especially with the bars that are noticeable. I hope you have wonderful luck with them. Post us a pic when you get them.

Wow! My cell made a liar out of me this time. It realized I was typing a reply. Technology...I don't know about ya'll but I would be in a major mess without it. Lol:)

WOW!  We just had a heck of a storm come through a few hours ago.  I hope the rest of you all are ok.  Lights flashed a couple of times here.  Made me nervous since I still have 2 JG eggs still in the bator.  The wind even blew the shade tarp off of the top of my run.  For some reason, the girls didn't want to get in the coop during all of this.  They stayed in the run in the pouring rain with the wind blowing like crazy until the tarp blew off.  That must have scared them because they scattered into the coop then.  We have that part there for extra shade and to help keep their food dry.  Well, their food was sopping wet.  I had to chunk out one 10 lb feeder and then a small 3 lb feeder  both full of  fresh feed after it stopped raining.  Hubby helped me fix the shade tarp and I moved the food closer to the overhang so, hopefully, everything will be dry if anything else comes through tonight.  Nothing in the duck coop/run was messed up.  I guess because we had to make repairs on that when the last storms came through.  Luckily, their food was completely dry so, I didn't have to chunk another 10 lbs of fresh feed.  Feed is expensive and plus the health of my birds is very important to me so, keeping everything dry is a must.  Everything seems back to normal.  They loved free ranging in the wet grass after it stopped raining even though it was only for a short time.

I just saw your post. I live just outside of Dublin and have some hatchery RIR that are 17 weeks old. There's about 5 roosters and 4 pullets.$7.50 each or $45 for all.
