That is really early. Is there anything that could have been off? Temp a bit high, storage before incubation, etc.? Ducks tend to take longer to finish the zip and hatch. I would be hesitant to get too involved now as, if really day 24, there is going to be a lot that could go very wrong. The trick now if to be sure it doesn't dry out or get glued in.

Oh! And also I had my first "bad egg" in the bator this morning. Went to get my two new chicks out and smelled a faint off smell. So I candled the four dozen MFD eggs and found the stinker. SO glad I have a sensitive smeller!! 😳
