My saanen goat has about a month and a half left in her pregnancy. She has a mucus looking discharge is this normal? i called the vet and he said she might be trying to loose the kids.I sure hope not. any info will be a help.

It's probably the mucos plug, which is normal. I've had does loose the mucos plug as early as 7 weeks and still have normal kiddings, altho usually when the plug comes out before 4 weeks...they kid a tish early.
Yep, Ditto, its normal as long as it isn't a long streaming mucus

Today there is no discharge and she seems normal.i have a 8 monthold nubian/alpine that was in heat early in the week and i think the other one was having a false heat.
