dont know if anyone from here made it out other than myself but it was a good auction ....

Drat, drat. I missed this! What kind of chickens did they have? Were they in good shape?
What were cages going for?

meriruka as with most of these auctions the fowl sell hi and low for no obvious reason at times ..... dont think i saw a cage go higher than 10 bucks......hens were priced really good and the health was excellent!

not a sickly bird in the house, roo's went a little higher than normal as there was a lady there that had decided she wanted every last one of them and she got most of them

they sold alot in lots this time so ya hadda watch what ya was buyin cause it could add up on ya quick!

got my hens about 1 1/2 yrs old for 5 bucks each, there was one in my group with a bad eye from fighting, they puller her out of the group, she went for 7 bucks with bad eye and her four sisters went fot 5 each with two good eyes lol

the roo i purchased i gave 15 bucks for, the rooster lady saw i was serious and let me have him lol

sold several goats, a pig , phesants, rabbits galore, guineas , turkeys, ducksand about every breed of chicken known to man

for 43 bucks i got my 5 hens and one roo , had a good time, lots of laughs to be had even though it was cold everyone was in great spirits!

today by noon the gals had all five done their job and layed their eggs

I was the overly excited bidder for the 2 Dominckers and 1 Barred Rock pullets. $7 each and $15 for a nice heavy cage. My existing flock is not too kind to the new girls, so I am a bit worried about that...
