sounds like it! I read somewhere that Alaska has huge, blood thirsty mosquitoes.
I thought the winter cold would kill them off.

We have had so much rain week after week, I will not be out except when absolutely necessary.

I've read on Google that my blood factor is a favorite with mosquitoes. I guess they like it spiked with ice cream.

Yes the bugs are fairly bad and huge every thing in Alaska is bigger plus with the 18+ hours of daylight they are out even longer.. I know what you mean about the blood type my boyfriend gets hammered by the mosquitos every time he is out Our 5 year old and myself on the other hand not so much
