Don't miss the new Nevada thread pages here!  These pages are in their infancy so don't hesitate to send me suggestions for additions or improvements.  Just be kind... I'm old and technologically challenged.     LOL

I have not forgotten the request for coaster pics ... I just haven't mailed them all off to their intended victims ... err, recipients yet.  I feel the need to be secretive.  The first half-dozen, delivered in person last week, were very well-received though!  As were the washcloths I did up on the road trip.  A washcloth pic:

Ya know, I just now realized the washcloth is upside-down! lol  It has taken me about three months, but I have finally made one that is almost-square, two nights ago ... the pic was snapped in September or October.

Do any of you use Pinterest or Delicious for saving links?

I have just started my Pinterest and have added some free crochet patterns I would like to try. If you would like to form some type of BYC group, we could probably do that. If you are not sure how to join, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send an invite.

Recent washcloths, the green/blue/white one I finished this morning while drinking my 2nd cup of coffee:

I typed up the "pattern" I use for these in this blog post for those who might be interested.  I need to do a crochet-style "block party" and get the gift coasters out the door so I can post pics finally lol My family considers any year they get gifts before april fool's day to be "on time" for me.  Also on the crochet to-do list is more grocery/shopping bags.  My only problem with crocheted grocery bags is convincing the kids who bag the groceries that they can take more weight than the purchased ones the store sells (my purchased ones are all tearing/breaking after 2 years).  I'm currently cutting plastic shopping bags into strips for "plarn" so maybe the kids can get over the "too pretty/someone made this!" objection.

Very nice. Thank you for putting them right-side up. Are they cotton?

Yes, I used worsted weight cotton yarn my local WMs carry by the cone, the "Peaches & Creme" label (not the one with a pitcher on the label, but the one with the peach).

Oh ... I think the blue/purple one on the right may be upside-down. lau  Not that it matters when cleaning the kitchen counter ... just one of those things my sister would tease me about.
