Also, all of my birds are organically grown and fed. These fellows are my babies and they are all spoiled rotten!

I'm going to pick up my 3 turkeys and 4 guineas tomorrow! I'm so glad I found another organic bird farm! Chemicals are nasty! Can't wait to see those turkeys!

So sorry to just now reply to the post I made.......I have been super busy outside gathering birds and eggs for everyone. Whew......and it is HOT!

Now, lets see where to start - - -

sara, I do ship in the fall & winter, but for now it is simply too hot and I wouldn't dare risking my little feathered friends lives......

broncbuster07 - thanks for the great offer on the birds, and I will see you in the morning!!!! I will be driving a grey, Ford F150 with a BIG cage in back.......lol, guess you could have easily spotted me, huh?

Drive safely.

Organically grown birds are the ONLY way to go for us. I'm glad to see that others feel the same way! Hope all of you have a fantastic Friday!

hi mesquite.

montgomery county tradin days is in conroe, texas. it's every 1st sunday of may and october. so this october should be october 7th.

to sell, your birds will have to have been tested clean and you'll also have to have paid the state that fee. show that at the gate. the gate fee is 30 cents a bird to sell a chicken. i think more for turkeys, peacocks, etc along with $5 per car or per person. not too sure since i always go by myself.

it's from 8-5 but people are lined up by 6am so they can park in the shady spots (which are few).

if you want to know more, i can give you the guys number that organizes it.

i sold all my 45 mutt birds last year. the lady next to me had pot bellied pig babies and sold them at $50 a pig. the guy next to me sold his rabbits and across from me, this guy had goats. can't remember what he was asking, but he sold all his goats too.

last may, i bought my buff orps from a guy who raises them in giddings.

it's not very big but it's alot of fun.

Thanks SO much for the information! That sounds like something I would love to be a part of. I would love to bring about 60 birds of various breeds. I will definitely put that date on my calendar!

I wanted to thank TJ for meeting me on Saturday! I really enjoyed our visit and your daughter is the cutest thing ever! I could have taken her with me and spoiled her rotten, for sure!

Let me know how the birds are, I love keeping in contact with people I sell to. Thanks again for the business, and I'm sure we'll meet up again sometime soon............if not around here, maybe at DG!

Belinda, all the birds are doing great! One of the male guineas flew off when I put them out on Saturday, but he was back the next morning. Guess he couldn't stand to be alone.

Jordyn really warmed up to you on Saturday! I told you she'd have you in her back pocket! We'll have to meet up again soon, so Jordyn can see her new best friend.

Speaking of DG, in the Texas Gardening forum, there's a thread titled Dallas Plant Swap. Check it out, you might be interested.
Good to know you! Tell Keith I may come after some quail soon! God Bless
