Hey there, everyone! I'm from Patrick County, VA, just west of Martinsville (and right down the big hill from hobbieorb). I've been wanting chickens for a while, but finally got the OK from POSSLQ this spring, so we are raising 16 right now (but 10 are going to the MIL). I have 4 light brahmas (3 pullets and 1 TBD), and 2 BO's, plus the 10 red-sex links that are waiting to move into their new home at the in-laws' house!

I know this is a veeeerrryy old thread but I'm hoping I can resurrect it :) We just moved up to Speedwell area (kinda out in the middle of speedwell/rural retreat area and just started our flock of chickens and ducks! Would love to find others close by :)
