For anyone that hasn't seen them, Mary's blue orpingtons are gorgeous!  I have pics of my blue orps that came from Mary on my website if anyone wants to see.

i am tired this morning. i went to the chicken and goat sale in jefferson sat. left home about 11 a.m. got home 11:30 sat. night. i sold all my culls. had a great time.my son met a man from fort mill that has a lot of high quaility chickens. he goes to shows all over. he also breeds min rex rabbits. they were so nice that i had to bring home a pr. for my grand sons.i am so glad that i did not take a trailer, because my son would have talked me into getting some min donkeys, they had 2 that i sure would have liked to have had.1 had a face that looked like an alpacca. my son said he would hold her in my truck.i knew that was not happening.so all i brought home was a pr of mini rex rabbits and 2 black copper marans pullets about 6 months old

Thank you for taking the time to look at my chickens!

I finally took pics ofmy newest chicks...my first Self blue OEGB and a Bantam Lav Ameraucana...they look sooo much alike except the Amer has a litle muff and I wanted to share! At this size you really have to look close to tell the comb differences!! No goat babies yet but she is "dropped"looking and her milk sack is even fuller thatn yesterday! So maybe soon!!

Yeah, sorry about that. I guess it wasn't too clear on what happened. Lauren was at the show where Jackie bought these and Lauren wasn't going to take any home as her schedule for school and work was hard enough. But we see that she could not hold out and jumped at the offer from Jackie. They are cutie patooties!!!

d'Anvers are just like the d'Uccles except no feather legs and meets Kris's idea of a nifty little bird. Lauren absolutely loves them, too.

Wait til she sees what Kris will be working on. Holy moly!

Kris really needs to take this Booted Bantam of mine for her project! fl.gif

Bantam Cochins are my love! Mille Fleur projects, buff barred projects and black/blue Mottled. Chickens, Guineas, Ducks, Peafowl and Meal Worms. Contact me for hatching eggs and a link to my website.

I also suggested that someone going to the show might be willing to find the second half of what she needs for the project, I'm not sure if it was a happy look, or a scowl she gave me.

Hey Yancy, so far only one roo is showing up in this last hatch of MF d'Uccles. The other 4 are looking like girls but I plan not to get my hopes up yet! If I have an extra girl then I figure you may could use her since you have 2 boys and this is a different bloodline.
