Guess what?? Just got my shipping notification for my new Brinsea incubator!! Woot woot!! It had been on backorder so it's just now shipping. It'll be here friday...or really it'll be at my work. Figures I take some time off and will end up having to drive over there to get it anyways!

The d'Anvers are still doing well. Abraham the roo is eating/drinking regularly and seems to be getting stronger. Mary has a bit of a sneeze right now (that actually sounds like a little bark) so I'm going to start her on some antibiotics. Hopefully that'll fix her up! I'm so amazed that the roo has come back from where he was. He still has quite a ways to go but it's so encouraging to see one recover.

Hope everybody's doing great!!

Currently raising a small menagarie of animals, including a horse, 2 mini donkeys, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ducks, and a bunch of chickens! Hoping to focus on call ducks and Belgium d'anvers!

Had quite a day today...I was working on the little pond...and I mean little.I bought a big kit to add to a kit I had but have never put in...it was used and came with fish and plants so I am putting in a small tub from it at the house for those for now! Anyway I take a break and go down to the layer coop to see how many eggs today and found this!!Rupert has been around for years...we always look for him in the spring and it is not unusual to find him sunning by the pool while I sit out and have my early coffee in the cool mornings! Well I grabbed him up and had Dixie drive us down to the hunt club to release him...and he spit the egg out in my lap! I hate to see him go but I felt that now he knows where the eggs are and it would be a problem for now on.
