Hey Everyone, Its been a little bit since I have been on.

Amy, I am so sorry about all of the damages and losses. I've never seen hail that big!

Moonchild, Those chicks of yours are so adorable! I love their colors.

Cookout first weekend in may? I hope I can make it. :) If so I would like to arrange mealworm and runnerduckling pick up at the same time? droolin.gif

As for me. I am still having issues with the neighbors dog. The neighbor continues to do nothing about it. And the dog continues to tear through my chicken wire barrier and dig under my fence. I do have a new coop situation that is helping. But I had 3 chicks that found a way  out last week and were killed. Luckily my favorite little Buff Orp chick was smart and stayed in with my Silkies and Muscovys. . :)  My little Buff Orp chick is so cute. She runs up to me and chirps and when I squat down she looks at me and then hops right onto my knee for me to pet her. She is so adorable. :)  Otherwise, I have an injured Muscovy, I think my Catahoula Rebel decided to herd her a little and she got running and went under a low azalea branch and got herself stuck, well, Rebel then tried to get her out from being stuck  and then when she couldn't she came and got me. I got to the duckling and her whole backside is barren of feathers and some skin is missing. Needless to say Rebel is on a very short leash from now on around the birds and the duckling is in the house getting TLC until the wounds heal. She is acting fine, eating and drinking well and everything so I have high hopes on her recovery. But it is still unfortunate that it happened and that i will I have to keep Rebel away from them she is normally so good with them.

Luckily for me, I plan on moving to a more rural area in the next 6-9 months or so. Life changes happening!! As a result, I will have 5 acres at my disposal and room for bigger coops and more birds and maybe even a milk goat or two. and no more worries about the neighbors dog!!  baby steps though....

I'll post pictures soon, the coloring of my muscovy's as their feathers are growing in is so beautiful, I just have to show them off to y'all.

I bun in the oven 1 Pitt mix,  4 Silkies, 2 Buff Orps, 1 Barred Rock, 4 Muscovy ducks, Living off of 5 acres.

Thanks for the kind words about the storm.

Sorry for the problems still happening at your place.

I may have some meal worms at that time, I am filling orders as they mature and am barely keeping up with all the orders. I had 18,000 go out yesterday.

I am not sure about Runner ducklings. I have a waiting list and am hatching as many as I can now to fill all the orders. I will just have to see what all everyone buys before then. I could have some left over.

I hope to be able to meet you at the cook out. I know it will be a blast because Samantha is a fabulous person and will make it a lot of fun!

Bantam Cochins are my love! Mille Fleur projects, buff barred projects and black/blue Mottled. Chickens, Guineas, Ducks, Peafowl and Meal Worms. Contact me for hatching eggs and a link to my website.

God Bless America!  If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them!

Oh Trixie...hate to hear the dog troubles...wanna borrow my horse? she stomps dogs...ooops!! I had a friends who dog came down with her kids...he is no harm but wanted to see the horse...I warned her and she said CJ would be fine...he is still limping weeks later and won't come on the property! I really wish I could help somehow seriously! The bad thing is those dogs are usually smart enough to be sure you are not home when they commit crimes....

And I really hope you make it!! I am sure there will be several deals arranged that day!!
