Oh gosh, yes! Well worth it just to see all you guys!

I am not sure I would have made this much had I stayed home and selling eating eggs definitely doesn't turn this kind of money. This was a big bunch of people buying, selling and trading and it was so much fun! Got to be near Sam but still did not get to talk too much. Ugh.

Bantam Cochins are my love! Mille Fleur projects, buff barred projects and black/blue Mottled. Chickens, Guineas, Ducks, Peafowl and Meal Worms. Contact me for hatching eggs and a link to my website.

I am in Charleston, SC.  Specifically, James Island.  I am trying to start a flock in my backyard, but I only want 2 chicks for now.  Everywhere I have seen to order them has a minimum much greater than that.  Does anyone know somewhere close to me I can buy 2 chicks?

Hi! I have someone coming from James Island in the next little while (not sure when exactly) to pick up some chicks. Unless it's you! Maybe she could get some for you when she's here. Are you looking for anything specific?

Chickenstock sounds like it went great! I should have sent some of my silkie roos with someone. This house build has been pretty time-consuming. Lots of projects to finish and decisions to make. Add in the regular farm stuff and parenting.... We just started our last month of school! I have some guinea keets if anyone is looking plus the usual array of chicks (Ameraucanas, Marans and Silkies).

Stay cool this week!

Good morning cnbeck! (And the rest of SC!)

I've been watching craigslist and I've noticed quite a few birds being offered in singles if your willing to travel (St. George, Cottageville, etc).

There used to be a place on Ladson road (Whole sale dirt or something) that was offering free range chicken, but I dont know the type or anything.  Big banner on the side of the building. Next to the new firestation there.

Other than that, I'm Brian, just started a small flock (3 EE's) and look forward to learning as much as possible!

OK so it's been awhile so I thought I would post pics of my babies that are growing up fast.

This little brown roo is a character...He follows me everywhere and is the only one that doesn't mind being picked up. He's gonna be a BIG boy!. OH he's suppose to be leaving soon to a good home (I hope this is not my mistake)

This is the BlueEEroo that I'm gonna keep (Cause I LOVE BLUE chickens)He is so purdy I could not get rid of him.
