chicken coop names...

I'm trying to think of a name for my coop. I need ideas. Any clever/funny names would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!big_smile

I am going to name my coop "Da Tweeta Haus".

Hi, I am Summer. I have a loving husband, Matt and 3 awesome kids, Hudson, Ireland , and Fiona. We have 1 boston terrier, Bosco.  We have about 40 chickens...many breeds. 2 ducks too.

Ours is known as the Taj Mahal. I didn't build it 100% square and when I was fretting about it, I finally realized " It's a chicken house, not the Taj Mahal!"
My coworker reminds me of this phrase when I get too picky about things at work. Bless her:)

If I had known a few chickens would make the man THAT happy....
mom & dad,teaching our rescue BRT Bess all about chickens, EE, Orps and now marans!  The man says we are switching to orps and marans, and they'reHISchickens!

ours is the Taj De' Koop and the k is a hens beak and it's backwards

Maybe you could pick a name that has something to do with what kind of chickens you have. Mine is The Cochin Coop of course smile

That's our run area.

What's redneck elsewhere is "green" in Oregon.

1 husband, 2 sons, 2 cats, 3 goats, 59 chicks, 22? assorted hens, 1 stupid rooster, a rooster in waiting, 3 Khaki Campbell ducks, no partridge, and no pear tree.  This is what happens when you deny your children pet birds.

I name according to what lives there. And make it catchy..

Cochin Crib,     Banty Barn,        Turkey Town,

Ducks Diner,     Silkie Shack.....

My cabin is the Chicken Palace because it is so large.....

No matter how much we push the envelope it is still stationary......

Ours is Pine Row Peeps Resort... because it's right next to the row of pines that divides ours and our neighbor's properties. Similarly, I christened our forest Broken Birch Forest because of all the broken birch trees. What landmarks surround the coop? That leads to nice names.

Thanks so far! My coop is 4' by 8' with a long window in front. We have a lot of dead oak trees around it.
