This way the other ducks didn't forget about her, they were with her each night. I did this for about 2 weeks, released her and everything was like normal. I would have never thought that duck would have made it!
Thank you. I'm so glad your duck recovered. I plan on putting her in a cage inside the chicken coop when I do put her back outside. I've been keeping her in the bath tub and putting her in the back yard some during the day.

As far as clipping your females that is up to you, I only clip my girls not my drake, but I don't want them flying down to the river down below us.
Thank you. It truly is amazing. This girl has skull and two veins or something that pumps up and down exposed. She's eating well and today she got out of the back yard and showed up at the coop for PM lock down.
I've decided to clip the girls. The drake was clipped when I got him but he's so big I just can't see him flying.

I have never in all these years clipped any duck wings (my drakes couldn't get off the ground if they tried ) The only wings I ever clip are pheasants
Thank you. Tomorrow is the day.

LOL, that's exactly what we are planning for tomorrow. I told my brother in law to bring his gloves for this party, lol
