Adorable Congrats... love.gif    I think I counted 9 heads?  I have one on day 3 of 35 she is on 7 eggs.. wee.gif

I got the same look from my duck Lacy when she would protect her nest lol thos Scobie mamas are te best mamas! And thos babies are so cute!!!!

One of my muscovy´s has been busy building a nest and hiding her eggs in it. It is totally full to the brim and then when i went down this morning i see one of my mallards has decided to steal it. ep.gif My poor muscovy was quite stressed at first but has now found a new site. lol Not long and i will be posting piccies. jumpy.gif

animal lover owning, a partner who is slowly becoming animal mad too, a boy and a girl in their teens (arghhhh) 3 dogs,untold amounts of rabbits ranging from really fluffy small ones to big giant ones, Guinea pigs galore, loads of chickens and loads of ducks,Turkeys, geese and some fish. oh and not forgetting some quail. Then every now and then we get a lamb or two. phew.........

IMG_2981_2.JPG  This is Emmie Lou, she is sitting on 7 eggs. when i saw your pic wulfandwyn made me think of my Emmie. She is just waiting for me to put my hand down there so she can pinch the daylights out of it. LOL

How old were they when you processed them and how much did they weigh? I've got 9 and I can't keep them all.

They are so cute!  I had no idea Muscovies came in such a vaiety of colors.  Someone gave me 47 eggs to incubate and I am really excited now about them hatching.  Fingers crossed, this is my first time incubating ducks. fl.gif

Bantam Red Cochins, Mille Fluer D'Uccle, Free ranging guineas - Pearl, Pied, Buff, Violet, Lavender.  One RIR hen and one Black Australorp hen (Henny) who is a spoiled rotten pet.  Variety of Maran babies.  One great husband, three kids, and two dogs.  I'm a chick-a-holic so I have an ever changing number of feather kids.

They are very similar.  Emmie Lou is beautiful.  Yeah Keiko got my hand once when I was trying to get a peek at the eggs...ouch, but still not as bad as their razor claws tongue.png
