I cook for my dogs, beef heart is their favorite, well my drake loves beef heart. so when I feed it to my dogs yep you guessed it Opie is right there waitng for his taste.  they are so funny.  Oh by the way Amy are you going to the Carolina Chicken Stock the 28th?  and are you bringing anything? 
 

Yes, I plan to come up.

I have a few orders to fill so will be bringing those but nothing extra, I do not believe. But it depends on who is coming with me and what I have at the time.

DH and I just talked about this and we both think they hate it because you have forward facing eyes, sure sign of a predator, and animals with side facing eyes are almost always prey. (I'm not sure how raptors figure into it) So, they see this huge set of eyes and that huge mouth and think you're going to eat them. DH thinks it's more to do with the mouth but I think it's both. I know if some huge face, 10 times bigger than mine, came at me with kissy lips I wouldn't want to stick around and see what happens.

One of my old Scovy hens LOVED chicken..BBQ, Fried, Boiled she didn't care. She once went after my moms pit bull over a piece of bbq chicken, thankfully Bishop loves ducks and this one happened to be his favorite, so of course he let her have it!  lol

I took Daisy out all day to run errands with me & I wanted to pop in & make a quick stop to the pet store. Then I realized there's no "quick stop" into a regular pet store with a duck in your backpack ...

Took us an hour,but I wasn't in a hurry really & it was funny how many people have never seen a duck! She was loving all the petting,treats & attention,she never gets this much fuss at the feed store but usually most people at a feed store have seen a duck,I suppose.

There was an employee there who wanted a muscovy so badly after meeting her that she was asking all sorts of questions.

Hey I don't have Muscovies yet but I really want some. They're beautiful birds (:  Id like to get some soon but cant seem to find any for sale locally.
