Ok, good, I tested the eggs, not in the incubator, and they are just like any of my other chicken eggs just larger.

 

Which leads me to the question, Why are my muscovies not laying? Are they late bloomers?

Keeper of 1 son, 1 man child, 1 step-son, 5 beagles, 1 boxer, 1 Chinese Crested, 3 DSH cats, a flock of chickens, 2 muscovy ducks, 1 Saanen doe, 1 Oberhasli doe, 1 Saanen buck, and 1 Nubian buck.

How old are they? some of mine didn't start to lay till 6-7 months old.

he has the chickens to keep him company but his girls are setting in the barn not walking around with him like usual Quote:

My Muscovy eggs are on day 31!  celebrate.gif  Yay!  Can't wait till they start hatching!!!

 

I have one guinea hatching today - Pipped this morning.  I found this egg laying on the ground beside my house.  I found 3 more eggs over the next few days so there will be some siblings due to hatch in a few more days.  Then I found the nest so in about a week there will be 30 more siblings.  fl.gif  I'm counting on these guinea babies because I want to give some babies to the lady that gave me my Muscovy eggs.

 

Also hatching 6 Silkies that are due this weekend with my Muscovies!  I am putting them all in the incubator to hatch together.  love.gif

Bantam Red Cochins, Mille Fluer D'Uccle, Free ranging guineas - Pearl, Pied, Buff, Violet, Lavender.  One RIR hen and one Black Australorp hen (Henny) who is a spoiled rotten pet.  Variety of Maran babies.  One great husband, three kids, and two dogs.  I'm a chick-a-holic so I have an ever changing number of feather kids.
