Muscovy keepers share your pics! - Page 300

Wish I knew how to post pics in thread.  Turns out I had 7 juvie Muscovy's for the last couple months.

Supposed to be a drake an 6 hens.  Guess we'll see.  Started to have the red bloom show up.  Reading through this thread now have a much better idea of what I'm looking for.  Thanks all!

BA's & BO's, RIR's & BR's, CCM's, EE's. Royal, Lav, Pied Guineas.

Narragansetts, Royal Palm and Blue Slate Heritage Turkeys.  Chocolate Muscovoy's. Tolouse & African pair. Pyrenese LGDs.

Chicken math bit me! Waiting to hatch out foundation flocks of Bourbon Red,  CCLBs, B/B/S & Choc project Ameracuna, B/B/C & Wheaten Marans & soon Sulmtalers!

Mama...Papa and babies.  love.gif

Ragged broody Muscovy on broody Silkie hen....and not an egg in sight !  th.gif

I did swap for some duck eggs and were shipped today....they have been on this nest over 40 days.

I had some Muscovy eggs, they hatched one last weekend but never left the nest, poor baby duckling was out on her own.

I rescued her 4-5 times then brought her inside to brood with some chicks.  big_smile.png

I told you guys my little mix drake likes to run around my legs and nibble on my pants leg... Well now my hunk-o-lard Scovy drake has decided its okay for him to do it too. And I think he got it in his head that my pink pajama pants are his new girlfriend so he was in LOVE with me tonight. he.gif Finally after getting a swift kick in the rear, he got the picture that I was not going to be such a willing participant in his game. Wont be wearing those pants outside again LOL

These are my 2 males, the white one (Big Ugly - lol) is aprox. 6 years old and the black one (Oscar) is about 4. I just got Oscar  a few days ago and I thought Big Ugly one was huge! But Oscar seems to be more interested in my female (Yacky)  then Big Ugly. When I got the Oscar his mate got to come with him but shes being stubborn and is currently in the woods until someone can help me catch her.... And yesterday I was abled to get the Oscar in the cage with my ther ducks including Yacky. While I was cleaning outside my coonhound  (Micky) started barking and here Oscar started to try and mate Yacky (Who was never mated by any duck before) and she was putting up a fight. I think Micky got jealous because Yacky used to stay in his coop with him haha! They did their thing and it was pretty funny because hes so much bigger then she is which I had got pictures of because my Boyfriend was saying how awkward it must be because of the size diffrence! Everyone got a laugh out of it and Oscar didn't hurt her :)

This is where Yacky didn't like what he was trying to do.

She just gave in willingly. Looks so awkward!! Haha.

Then they got all fluffly, Lol!
While this was going on my Runners didn't know what to make of the situtation!
I hope Yacky will be abled to be a mom to her own babies!

You can really see the size diffrence here!

My little feathery, webbed feet, water proof, billed babies are everything to me.

Changed my avatar from the scob trio to one of my nosey turkeys - I get the same look on my face alot!

OK, going to try my first picture posting and hope for some help sexing.  Not sure of ages but all juvies a couple of months ago when I got them.  The gang has just started fleshing.  While there was a big difference in size when they first came it's evened out much more.  Really thinking more than one drake in the bunch as was represented.  So take your best guess  as will help me get a better idea of what I'm looking for - thanks!.
