Ancona ducks?

I have chekens but no roosters. So my neighbors are used to the girls.

Yes. If you want quiet ducks get all males or go with muscovy as they do not quack
 
I have Anconas (and Campbells, and Pekins) and they really don't make any noise unless there is imminent danger (like a surprise dog in the yard)...or they are mad that I am making them go to bed... :) Even with the hawks circling above, they watch but aren't panicked. They are great layers and have really interesting feather coloring. I have decided that once the Campbell's are gone, I will only keep Anconas - especially because they are on the endangered list.
