Here is our OE "Ebony" and her first olive egg. I originally wanted/purchased an Ameraucana hen for the bluish eggs but alas this is what we got...
really pretty. i too want some blue eggers, but i think you will like having ebony's color too for variety.

WOW! My Olive Egger just started laying last week and has only produced 3 eggs so far. First was 44 grams (typical for a pullet), second was 49 grams (getting bigger), but her third egg was HUGE. 63 grams. Some of my other pullets have been laying for a month and their largest was 52 grams.
I'm impressed.
