I may be ignorant here but is there a way to add friends on our profile? If not, is there a way we can get it added? With so many posters on here, it would make it alot easier to keep up with friends if we had it. Just a humble request.

Are you looking to be able to link in some of the people you are freinds with here on the BYC?
I think it would be cool, but other than just a list, what purpose would it serve? Not being negative here, just trying to understand your reasons.

Great idea !!!!! niftychicken the administrator has a BYC improvement thread going. Just add your suggestion and he will see if it is workable. I think it is a very good idea.

A friends list. Something on our profile that we can add to so we can click on it to pm on a need to basis. Like on facebook or something. thats what im trying to bring up
If I need to pm someone, I just do a search for them. That's easy enough to do. Often they'll be in my messages too so it's an easy thing to just click on their name there.
Wouldn't that be just like the users list? we're all friends!
It's been requested a few times but honestly isn't high on the priority list. We want to avoid being a myspace, friendster, facebook clone and stick to doing best what we do best. This isn't to say we will never add some similar features, but we prioritize them based on how they will help the community and our mission to help everyone raise chickens and our vision to have a chicken in every yard!
