I've had Harleys and my first bike was a 98 superglide and then I bought a dyna wide glide in 05. Unfortunatley after moving to the country I had to give up riding for now so that I could buy a retaining wall...sad

Barnevelders, Welsummers, BBBS Orpingtons, Heritage Delawares, Black, White, Auburn, and Mottled Javas, Speckled Sussex, Blue & Barred Plymouth Rock, Mille Fleur D'Uccle,  and of course Faverolles.

We have a 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster Custom. It is our replacement bike , our original was a 06 Low. But this one got run over by a drunk driver and totaled, of course no insurance or job o this guy. He just ran it over and left but was caught on tape.
On the new bike we just put  Rinehart mufflers on, now its all good and loud again. Loud saves lives!!!

In Feb '08, we were headed home at night and had a college student run a red light on us. Haven't been able to ride our "Iron Warhorse" since and am missing it like crazy!!!

We should be able to make her road-worthy again ourselves and are looking into replacing the front end parts at this time. fl

ouch looks like our old 06 after it got hit by a pick up. Our was totaled and it didnt even look that bad. Bend wheel ,cracked fork a dent in the tank and some minor stuff. But then they found out the idiot bend the frame too. DH sat out in the garage with her crying and staring at the dents. He just got her here from Florida a few week prior on a moving truck.

Question for Harley riders, Do you know what the similarity is between a Hound dog and a Harley????

Personally motorcycles scare me to death.  One of my sons own 3 of them and rides all spring, summer and fall.  He doesn't wear a helmet.  I wish he would!!  My brother has road a Harley fat boy for 15 years.  He told my son he should take a motorcycle riding course.  His moto:  "It's not IF your going to crash, it's WHEN will it happen."  My poor baby's head WHEN he crashes!   I just hold my breath every day that he will not go down!!!fl
