I am no Pilgrim expert by any means, but it does look like you have 3 boys and one girl.  That is what I would tell the hatchery.

Maybe e-mail those photos to Ideal, I think they might know.

Totally three boys and a girl. And I agree, send a picture to Ideal Poultry _including_ the description of what the Pilgrims are supposed to look like taken directly from their website.

That's not meant to be offensive and you shouldn't throw it in their face. It's just that Ideal has a ton of different birds and it's not really fair to expect everyone working there to have memorized all the little details of every single thing. That will help sort the mess out, hopefully.

Sorry to deliver the bad news. On the upside you have a great little pair there.

Raising American Buff and Pilgrim Geese, Ancona, Harlequin, Rouen, Campbell, Saxony, and Buff ducks, Muscovies, Rosecomb Barred Rock, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, Wheaten/Blue Ameraucana, and Red Ameraucana chickens, Blue/Royal Palm and Blue Slate turkeys, Jumbo Coturnix quail, Jumbo Ringneck Pheasants, Redclaw Lobsters, Blue Tilapia, and an assortment of show rabbits. Hatching eggs available.

Thank you all. I emailed them last night with pics too. I asked if they could please ship 3 females with very dark bills and feet asap to avoid a huge age difference between the 2 groups. I haven't heard back yet...I'll post what the answer is once I do.
Thanks again!
Lisa

love the swimming pictures-cute cute cute!  i'm glad you got some answers from people here about the sexes and were able to e-mail pictures to ideal.  definately keep us updated and keep the pictures coming too.  i'm sure ideal will be cool about it,  and i guess you'll just be ending up with a couple more geese than what you initially planned, but since they are so fun maybe that is a good thing?  are you going with "p" names, or did you choose "s" names???  or another letter??

I couldn't decide yet, since I didn't know what/who I have had. I think "P" though and the girl is Petunia if we do go with P names. Paco, Petey, and ??? for the little guys...again if we go with P names. I haven't heard back from Mikaela yet.    fl she answers me soon and with a satisfactory answer.
