I just got mine 2 weeks ago. There were 56 birds, including 2 ancona ducklings. My assortment has brahmas, cochins, turkins, 1 minorca, several Easter Eggers, two birds that might be chanteclers, and them some I haven't figured out what they are. I got five Egyptian Fayoumis, but they all died of disease within three days. Yes, it is a good deal. The breeds and number of birds will vary with each box, though. Some may be better equipped to live in your area, and the amount of land you have to offer. The Easter Eggers will survive pretty much anywhere, but if you get bantams, you may have to keep them inside during the winter, and you'll probably have to provide separate housing for them. If you get aseels or other flighty birds, you may need to fence them in.
Still, it is a very good deal, and you get an excellent assortment.
