OH MY GOSH I AM SO PROUD TODAY

okie-congrats!!! Our DD and DSIL graduated from boot camp and 2 and 1 respectivley other training camps. DD goes to Kabul in march leaving DSIL home with the three young children. He is not scheduled to go yet.

iheartchickens- The war is not worse than you see on t.v.
T.V. does not report anything about the war that is good. Between DD(MI),DSIL, and other relatives that are involved(one female marine who has done three tours in Iraq!) t.v. only shows the bad things. DH is involved with FCSA forum which has many soldiers involved, there are sooo many good things happening with this war, especially less soldier getting hurt, than since the beginning.

You just have to hold on to hope and KNOW that we are doing the right thing. We can't stop now, we can't desert the Iraqi people for a THIRD time. We need to just keep on keeping on, keep a strong front and most importantly remember our pledge-UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL
Too many people forget that, we need to come together as a whole and support our troops and freedom no matter the costs.

Congrats to you and your son. THANK HIM for his service to our country.

This morning the three lead stories on the radio news were that Britney's little sister is pregnant, the Natalie Holloway case is closed, and 20+ FSU football players have been suspended. Here we are fighting two wars and that's what leads the CBS radio news.

Things must be going better for our troops. God bless 'em!

I love the pics and can't even begin to imagine the intensity of your pride and awe at your amazing son. We will all be praying for his safety.....

guess I didn't think you had older kids, only small ones.

Keep us posted, you are often in my thoughts

Oakie....Congratulations! I know as a parent we only want the best for our kids. Now will all your kids get to be home for the holiday?
Is Kenny the oldest? Was your youngest the one in the 2nd picture.
