Thanks!

They are so cute right now, I love it when they spread their little necks out when they sleep on the ground. My BF is going to make a small roost for them this weekend.

Thanks again!

just took home my first chicks 3 blue wyandotes and they ate and and and now they're all dead? No, sleeping as humans do.. great comments and reassurance for a newbie, cheers to all

I have a Brabanter chick that sleeps a lot more than others. She eats and drinks, and stuff, but while others are scratching around in the brooder, she just sleeps. Is this normal?

I happen to have a few pictures of my Jersey Giant chicks passed out after feeding frenzy which is their favorite post-feeding frenzy activity. Sometimes whilst still at the feed tray.

Enjoy.

I have 7 chicks, they eat, scratch around, drink then sleep.  It seems one of my barred rocks sleeps more than the others, she is active but seems to be the first one to fall asleep, then the others join, she is the last to wake up too.  Is it normal for them to nap through out the day?

Thanks!!/img/smilies/idunno.gif

Maybe i'm just being a little to over protective/worried.
