Worms & Respiratory Disease - Rooster Booster Worked!!!

I read further about the Rooster Booster Multi action wormer and found that you need to feed this for 5 days. I have to admit I can't remember if it was from the manufacture or a hatchery. One hatchery said they add this to there feed at the first of every month. I would go to the source. There is no withdrawal for egg eating is what is stated. I guess if you had someone who was sensitive to certain meds I would maybe be cautious? I use this product twice a year with my 150 + birds during the spring and fall. I add the container to 50 pounds of feed. Some times on Flemming Outdoors they have great sales on this and I buy a few at a time. Our Orschlens farm store carry's it for 16.99. Research is key with all meds. It works for us!

hay guys, thanx for the info on the Rooster Booster, I've been reading about it due to the loss of a couple hens, mainly respiratory. I did notice another wormer someone had mentioned that is organic I think?

Verm-X,,, has anyone used this and can it be purchased in the states? its been a while since I researched it.

have a great day!

I take care of my 40+ bird flock and also my in-laws flock. Mine are all under a year old and are begining to lay. I boil up spices such as oregano and parsley and add the mixture to there water daily, my birds are all healthy and very happy. Now my in-laws birds are an old flock they had bought into that were neglected. I understand that some people do not use antibiotics on there flocks but these guys are pets and I have issued them all antibiotics, Again They are pets, not commercal egg layers.

Recently I discoverd worms, which I researched for hours and only found the Rooster Booster to be able to use, due to them being older hens and not all in the best of health the Rooster Booster seemed my only option as it has all sorts of vitamins and minerals to help any birds overall health. Due to all my research the ingredents do not go into the egg so yes in my opinion it would be safe to administer a small amount in everyday feed. Or like oyster shells, offer a seperate food dish with the mix in it.

Just like you, this flock sounded horrible, all lost weight and just not as active as some are. This rooster booster was a great find. Hope all is well in everyones flock. FYI I bought my rooster booster from a vet sight, which after january it will only be issued by vet script.
