How long with new roo before getting pures?

I always forget this. D'oh!

I had my buff silkies in with my cochins, everyone running together. Now I have my girls in with a buff silkie boy. How long do they need to be together before their eggs are fertile from him (assuming he is doing his job which I have not observed as of, yet, but their pen is not at a great angle for chicken watching. sad
