Thanks for the chart I was wondering about how old my leghorns are and it really came in handy. It's perfect mine are about 4-5 weeks old. Are there charts for other chickens I'll research the University of Nebraska 4H Chicken Charts. LOL Much MahaloI am not convinced they are cockerels quite yet. They generally have more waddle development by 4 weeks. I've had quite a few WL pullets that had faster developing combs that were pinker than the rest, but there waddles remained undeveloped until 14-16 weeks. I use this Chart as a point of reference for mine. Hope it helps.

What was it a ckl or plt? This is our first set of chicks, supposedly all pullets. I'm highly suspicious of our white leghorn, though. "She" has a bigger comb than the rest, in particular, and she's been growing the fastest. I wonder if it's just because white leghorns are bred to grow quickly and produce right away? It's possible that my other girls' breeds have smaller combs at this age (4.5 weeks), too - not sure.
Anyway, here are pics, your opinions are much appreciated!
