I have RIR eggs for sale for anyone interested. These are not hatchery stock RIRs. They are the old dark mohogany  type. They are great layers and have wonderful tempermants. I am selling them for $20.00/ Dozen that includes shipping . If you are intersted please PM me. I accept paypal and money orders. I also am getting alot of Ringneck pheasant and chukar partridge eggs too if anyone is intersested.

Beautiful! I have got to stop looking on this site, I am finding too many breeds I like lol.  Are the roosters easy going and good temperament like the hens? Reason I ask is I had a RIR rooster before and it was agressive and would attack me.  Your's are beautiful though and I would like to try them again...but I need to balance my checkbook first.

My rooster is very gentle. I raised him from a chick and always kinda let him know who the boss was though tongue
