Meat chicken coop

Here's a few pics of mine:

And the special meaty roosts I put in later. Really kept them comfy at night and allowed air flow underneath, while keeping them from sleeping in the bedding.

And a video of their existence in and out of this coop..sorry about the poor quality of the video, this was done with my digital camera and was my very first video ever:

I just finished my tractor. It is 96 square feet. I have another two coops in the back so this one had to be a little more palatable for the front / side yard. It is PVC with 2x3 welded wire, 1/4" plywood, and lightweight plastic roofing. The wire goes all around. These got too large in my brooder but if I need to later for smaller chicks I'll add 1 foot of hardware cloth along the edges. I spent about $25 on PVC, $26 on wire, $35 on plywood, $25 on plastic and $36 on spray paint. I had a 1000 pack of zip ties that I don't know how much I paid cause they were laying around but we used tons. same with PVC glue and hinges. The whole thing was less than 8 hours of work and was fairly easy.

I like the look of this but I might later do the top in green as I have a little paint left.
