deworming chickens????????????????

Pics
I'm very new to the chicken business and I absolutely love it. My question is about the deworming......I was talking to a local milling company who advised to use natural dewormer and they suggested pepper seeds. Has anyone ever done this ???

I ran into a man who started a conversation about treating chickens. Need to be dewormed and giving them a tablespoon of clorox in there water, to clean them out. Giving them vinger and galic. Have anyone every heard of any of these things??????????
I use a cap full in two gallons. My uncle should me that years ago. Flush them right out.

You saw them poop out worms?

I don't agree with that at all. If you raise more than a few chickens, and don't have a worming program, you will have serious problems. Keeping birds worm free will allow them to be in their best condition which promotes fertility, vigor, and over all flock health. If you wait until you see worms, I guarantee it is too late, and you have given up the health of your flock in return for not treating them pro-actively.
I agree as well, worms are in the soil, clorox - no way! Acc, doesn't work that way, DE nope. I have found thru family (zillion years with poultry) the best product is Safeguard goat wormer. I mix tsp to gallon of water...their only water source for 3 days. There is no can't eat eggs period either. I have wormed mine every molt, few eggs anyway. Runs between 21 and 25 dollars. Depends on your flock size. It does last. If you find dirty eggs and the weather is clear...or poopy butts worm them. Get on a regular routine. It can cause anemia and death.
