Males or Females? color change on my chicks

We have 4 red sex links, were trying to figure out males or females. We saw on some sites that the males are more of a yellow and the females are more of a reddish, well the 4 we have are more of a yellow but have a very slight reddish going down their backs when we got them, it was very light, so we figured they were males but then these past few days i noticed some color change, at first i thought they were getting really messy and dirty and poo all over them so today i took one out to look closer and its not dirt or poo at all, come to find out, the chick has dark reddish/brownish color coming in, especially on the back of their necks and on their wings, not sure on their age but by the looks of them and the looks of are other chicks, these look to be maybe around a month old. What sex do you think these are? Will the males start getting dark red feathers, or just the females? I appreciate any help.wink

Maybe this will help.  About 2/3 of the way down the page it shows picures of "Eric" and "Cheryl" (red sex links) side by side at 6 weeks.

If they have yellow/white down and the wing feathers come in mostly white, they are cockerels.  If they have reddish/orange down and come in red (sometimes with patterning), they are pullets.
