Hi,
I have been to the poultry show in Lake City. It is a big show, it is well run and we had a great time. I highly recommend everyone to go to it. You can't go wrong, you will see hundreds of chickens, some you never even heard of. The people at the shows are nice folks and usually are glad to talk with you and answer questions. It is a very good way to get up close and personal with a lot of different breeds and really helps you make a decision on what breed would be best for you. I have been to the show that will be held in Inverness (it was in Bushnell last year), it was great too. I have also been to the show held in Stuart, it was a equally good. I have enjoyed going to these shows for the last 2 years, and intend to keep going. Maybe the Florida BYC'ers can meet up at one of these shows, that would be fun.
