There is going to be a chicken swap in your area (West Monroe) next weekend. You may want to attend. Some Louisiana BYC'ers will be there.

I think it's over. I guess I'll try some guinea eggs now. I'll keep practicing. I'm trying to and forcing myself to like, enjoy and get excited about using an incubator but I find that it's boring. hide.gif Incubating is not exciting to me like it is to others. I get more excited seeing a hen hatch her own babies. I was more excited at seeing my lone gosling hatch then I am to have 13 chicks hatch. idunno.gifsmack.gif Oh well......... life goes on

Those are some gorgeous babies & congratulations! & not big deal if you dont' like 'bator hatching-- I never had a broody hen - main thing is, you get good, healthy pretty chicklets, no matter how!

Jeff - sent you a PM -- my life goes back to normal this coming week so if you don't make it to Alex, we can get the young roos to you (pullets too if you want any) -- No thanks on your "two for one deal" lol!!!

Well just got the call from (S)Lowe's that our new push mower is in -- so guess that means we'll get rain for the next several days.  Now we once again have all the basic lawn mowing equipment up to par -- take your pic from the weed-eater to the Kubota tractor & every size in between!

Julie picked our first blackberries yesterday -- over some frozen vanilla yogurt, -- major YUM!!!!
