I have a friend who is looking for pullets that are close to POL.  He really wants heritage, dual purpose birds, but he will consider other breeds.  Anyone know someone with available birds? Feel free to PM me if you have any information.

Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Hurry home and get in bed. Hope you feel better.
I just talked to them - he made it through his surgery just fine & is doing well, coming out of anesthesia. He should be cleared to come home tomorrow morning.

Talked to my Mom & she thinks I'm reacting to the flu shot- we both went & got ours last Friday - she says she felt like this the past couple of days (but is better today).
Glad to hear that Mal is doing well. Let us know when he gets home.

Hope that you are doing better. smile.png

picasa.google.com  a setting came up and asked me what pictures to open with picasa and i set them all to load with picasa, after you save your picture to a file, open up that picture and click on it. at the bottom of the screen it will say to edit with picasa. your picture will open in a new window ready to be edited. be sure to go to file and save as a new picture. very easy using the tabs at the top of the page, hope you will give this program a try, fun to use and easy too. free and safe is the best part!

NICE! love.gif

Just making a pass through here and stopped in to holler howdy doody this morning.smile.png

Jeff

There's a whole world of differences between propagators and breeders. My goal is to propagate breeders towards the Standard of Perfection.

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, you can make a purse out of it, but it won't be silk. LOL

Maybe in about another 30-40 years I'll get this "being an expert" thing figured out by then. LOL

Just wanted to post some pics of the peas.

Terri, every day I'm finding out exactly how GOOD Prince can fly. When I got home yesterday, I opened the door to his pen. He took one look at me and lifted up from the roost, flew on the chicken house (8ft tall), took 2 steps and commenced to soaring a 1 acre length of the property, landing SO VERY smooth on the other side of the property. I was speechless. th.gif WOW! I didn't realize how high and how far peas can fly. It was like watching an eagle soar in the sky. I feel bad having to build another flight pen and putting the peas in there but with the ability that they have to fly to so well, I have no choice. hit.gif I think he can easily fly 1/2 mile or more down the road with no problems. I will try to have the camera ready next time, so that I can take a picture of him soaring in the air. He is such a show off. hmm.png

This is Prince, with his mother (don't know which one). He lasted a good 5 minutes on the roost before they ripped him apart. hmm.png

Prince in pecan tree last night. hmm.pngsomad.gif
