Any Serama lovers in S. Calif?

I'm in Lompoc just above Santa Barbara.

Hi, Neighbor!

I like going to your Pet Smart (ONLY on the weekends though... &*%$ 91 Freeway...) since it has a State Line Tack. You'd think the one out my way would with all the horse people!

Hi Carri,
I know that area gets soooo congested. I'm in West Yorba Linda, so more in the older horsey part of town, which I love! One of my good friends lives in Norco too. We have a really good tack and feed store off Rose, it might actually be in Placentia but that's where I usually get my feed. Happy day to you and good to hear from you. It's nice to have some chicken buds in SoCal. Most of my friends and family think I'm nuts but my kids love them!

Sigh....:| I miss living out there, we moved all the way out here almost twenty years ago.
Lived in West Covina, rode in Norco, went to Cal Poly....had the split pea soup in Buellton!!

Oh Mudhen... I'm sure you would die if you came out and saw this place now! I just moved here two years ago from Ventura County, but I used to show down this way when I was younger. All I remember were COWS everywhere!!! Now, it's HOUSES and traffic!

But Norco is doing a great job of keeping with it's roots.
CAMom- There is a little group of us that get together in Norco every once in a while for "chickening", as we call it! Pretty much, we just talk about chickens, look at chickens, shop for chickens... do all the weird chicken stuff! You should join us sometime! It's just really hard to go through a day of "chickening" and not pick something up.
