These are pictures from a Bantam Serama Cross.He weighed 640 grammes.
His organs aren't all 'normal' but you'll see the bits you're interested in.
The large bean shaped that are in the centre of the picture are his Testicles. They are situated on the spine, behind the heart (removed) and below the lungs ( reddy, pink area above them)
The dark red area behind them, along the spine are his kidneys (enlarged):
This pick shows one of the ducts that carries sperm to the cloaca (white string-like thing to the right of my metal probe):
These are the testicles when taken out:
The pink stuff with holes in is the lung tissue. They nestle around the ribs:
This is the lung tissue being peeled away from the ribcage:
This is the lung removed. Note how the shape conforms to fit in the spaces around the internal ribs:
The internal ribs show nicely here ( as do his enlarged kidneys):
