I wanted to share some funny pic's of my little Buff Silky Roo.  For some reason he goes balistic when he sees a Folgers coffee can.  I was keeping some chick feed in it inside my coop to feed to my baby chicks.  When I pick it up he thies flogging it, so now I have to watch and feed them when he's not looking.  Hard to do sometime.  This is a can I threw outside to play with him and take some snap shots.  I need to get a camcorder, you just can't see the action in still shots.  Let me know if anyone else's rooster has ever attacked any thing weird.

Probably the only thread with a title like that, that won't get shut down.

Cute bird.

Keeper of 27 hens,  4 PW Leghorns, 1 leghorn mix, 1 FBCMarans, 1 Australorp, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Mama Olive Egger, 1 Olive Egger broody, 1 EE, a Barred Rock, a RIR, a CQ, 1 Delaware, 1 Black Star, a Splash Ameraucana, 3 W/BW Ameraucanas, 5 polish, 2 Welsummers and exactly 63 chicks of various breeds. and 25 eggs in the bator. YIKES!

I think that it's a rooster that needs his coffee fix!

Wife to a wonderful Hubby, slave to 1 Chihuahua, 1 mini Dashound, 1 Dorky, 1 Aussie, 3 House cats, 1 feral cat(w/2 kittens) , to many chicks and chickens to count, 7 Turkeys,  2 bunny rabbits, 1 Pygmy goats, 11 Nigerians.

I have a Fawn OEGB that attacks my aluminum feed scoop when I give them a scoop of food. He also does not like the color pink or green. roll

My roosters have always attacked my feed scoop too. Its some kind of metal, maybe Al.
I have to say when I saw the title I was... duc [substitute for violent words descibing violent actions I was going to take] not happy.....I thought someone was trying to set up a cock fight on byc. th

Anyway, cute pics. It's really funny, I hope you can get it on camera so we can watch the Folgers attack. And I aggree that if he's anything like the people around here.. He's a DD man. I'm waiting for the can to get up and fight back. old It might take a while though. smile
