Tonight I went to put my chickens in and one of them has a very bloody bottom. I separated her from the others. Could she be eqq bound and what can I do about it. I have had chickens for about 8 years and this is a first. Thank you.

Does she have prolapse? If she is eggbound, you can soak her in a warm bath. Hopefully this will help pass the egg. If she has prolapse, use hemmoroid cream to push the prolapse back in, while doing this check inside to see if she has a stuck egg. If she does, try the bath first, if this does not work, then you will have to remove it.(yep, another trip into chicken butt heaven) Be very gentle and careful while doing this! When you are done keep her in a dark place, and stop the laying feed. This way she does not lay another egg until she is better. Spoil her with yogurt and other good stuff! I hope this helps!

Please check the post in this section by baltimoreharps.
Also, search above and to the right concerning 'eggbound'...good luck, this is a tricky business, and if you have access to a vet this is the time to use it.

I tried the warm bath with my chicken but I don't think that her problem was egg bound but a severe infection.
There's a lot of info in this section about egg bound hens and patyrdz has some good advice for you right here.
Good luck with your chicken!
