There is little doubt that Big Medicine developed the Silver Laced variety.  I doubt that Dan P reads the posts here any longer, but if so he will get a kick out the one that says he must be near 70 years old.  In fact he may not be over 40.

My first hatch of blue Brahma babies.  So far no vulture hocks.  As far as the rest, what do y'all think?

How's the leg color ?   I know from my experience of playing around with blue Cornish I can keep a pretty decent yellow on the males, the females not so easy.

Yup, legs are mostly black with some yellow here and there.

 Sorry chickenhawk... Gary Imwalle AKA Big Medicine worked on the Silver Laced Brahmas for 20 years and helped Dan with his Silvers. I've been doing some reading on this subject. It's probably better left like that. Check out some of the Brahma Threads. Gary also has some very impressive birds. Like stated above by Sjisty...

 

That is a nice pair of birds you have from Dan.

BLRW LF and Bantams, Black and White Frizzles, Maylay and Shamo Orientals, a trio of Partridge Rock Bantams, EE mixes for eggs, Whitetail and Fallow Deer. Roman Tuffed Geese, African Dulap.  Will be getting in the near future.... Different colors of Brahmas.
