My Buff Laced and Gold Laced Brahmas from RED ROOSTER FARM IN WA. Currently 4 1/2 months old. The Lighter one is an oddball. She seems to become more buff as they get older.

I have a chick who's in between 5 and 6 weeks old who I was hoping you could all lend a hand in sexing.

This was a TSC Mystery Bantam so I may be completely off on my breed. This one seems a bit more bossy than any of the SS and one other mystery chick in the group, but not constantly.

Looks to be a girl, but just a guess for that young an age.

The Funkier the look the better!
Polish, Frizzles, Sizzles, Turkens, Light Brahmas, Ameraucanas.....Up coming Appenzeller Spitzhauben & many "projects" I do not show, and breed more for a fun & funky look.  I Also breed Lionhead rabbits

I have 2 brahmas that are about 2 weeks old. They dont like to be played with or held asmuch as the rest of my chicks. Here are a few pictures of them. How can I tell what color they are and I want to learn more about this breed. Thanks

Those look like they will be Buff.... but I could so be wrong.  The dark ones I have seen have darker coloring where the dark is.  My buff babies have more yellow than that... So I don't know..... I'd like to see what other people say too.  I LOVE BRAHMAS!

They start off like that .... but my brahmas are SO friendly.  I even teach them calls, like to come range to me or go to the coop when they need to go back.  Just handle them every day, talk to them, and I use a greeting call that I use each time I am coming so that they aren't startled.  They really get friendly when you can start giving them treats :)
