Do Pekin/Muscovy mixed drakes have DRAKE feathers? - Page 2

The duck in that picture looks like my drake. I'm not sure if he's a Cayuga or Black Swedish or a combo of the two, but it's definitely not a Pekin or Muscovy. I'm fairly certain from your picture that it is of a male with a curly drake feather. My hens can get pretty scruffy sometimes, but they never have a feather that curls up like that.

Also when Pekin are crossed with other breeds you tend to get some interesting outcomes thanks to some 'hidden' genes. Many have Pekin crosses that look very much like Swedish ducks.
