Well, I say roo, because of the tail. I mean,  what hen has a tail like that? And your hens don't have long tails so, it must be a roo.

Here is a pic that looks a little like ur guy. Mostly the sickle feathers.

I say girl because jungle fowl are one color and she looks like a jungle fowl hen. When you look at phoenix she looks like a hen. Here is the feathersite page http://feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Phoen/BRKPhoenix.html

Okay, the colors look like a girl but I still stick with the roo side. The pic on FeatherSite before the first pic of chicks, looks like Zahboo's he/she. Well, I need to go, but will be back later tomorrow to continue this debate.

IDK they didn't have the parents.... They just had them. They were free, along with 15 other chickens and a goat...
