Thanks, Katie. I haven't had much luck with eggs being viable after traveling through the mail system (I think I got one chick out of 30 eggs last year?), but I will keep trying.
Blue Double Laced Barnevelders - Does anyone have birds or pictures?

I have 4 barnevelder chicks. Two blue black variety and 2 splash. With the blue black variety when can you tell coloring? The splash are two young to sex but the blue/black variety I think I have 1 of each.

Well if my splashes end up roos at all I won't be keeping them long term due to close neighbors. I would consider a crow collar for a special one if I had one. But not sure how I would get him to you.

Little splash barnevelder roo. In Fresno, CA if anyone is interested in him. If bred to a BBS black hen will get all blues! Or can breed with a blue and get blue and splash.
